What people ask us first
- My hair is thinning and I do not know which treatment, if any, is right for me.
- What is the difference between PRP and exosomes, and why do the prices vary so much?
- Will I have to give blood, and how much is taken?
- How many sessions do people usually book, and who decides that?
What happens at your appointment
-
Free hair loss consultation
30 minutes
Your practitioner looks at your scalp, asks about your hair, your health and any medicines you take, and explains the options. Whether a treatment is suitable is decided with you. If you go ahead, you book that session in the online diary.
-
Blood sample (PRP only)
For PRP, a small sample of blood is taken from your arm, in the same way as a routine blood test. The tubes are spun in a machine called a centrifuge, which separates the plasma from the red blood cells while you wait.
-
Treating the scalp
30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the option
The prepared plasma, or the exosome product you chose, is applied to the areas of your scalp agreed at the consultation. Your practitioner tells you what is happening as it goes.
-
Aftercare and home
Before you leave, your practitioner explains how to look after your scalp over the next few days, including when you can wash your hair. You can usually go straight back to your day.
What to expect
- You leave the consultation knowing which options are suitable for you, and which are not.
- You know what each session involves, how long it takes and the price, before you pay for anything.
- If you go ahead, each step is explained as it happens, from the blood sample to the scalp.
- You go home with aftercare advice and a clear idea of when, or whether, to book again.

Start with a free hair loss consultation
Every hair loss treatment at the clinic starts with a free 30 minute consultation, in person or by video. Whether PRP or exosomes suit you is decided with you, and you will be told if neither does. There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
PRP for hair: what happens
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. It is made from a small sample of your own blood, taken from your arm at the start of the appointment.
The tubes are spun in a centrifuge, which separates each one into a yellow layer of plasma on top and red blood cells underneath, while you wait.
The plasma is then applied to the areas of your scalp agreed at the consultation, using a fine handheld injector. The whole appointment is booked as one hour. PRP for hair is £150 a session.
Exosome hair treatment: the three options
Exosomes are tiny particles released by cells. For hair, they come as a ready-made product applied to the scalp, so no blood sample is needed. The clinic offers three, listed in the online diary by product name:
- Mesoestetic exosomes: 45 minutes, £150.
- Purasomes HSC50+: 30 minutes, £300.
- 200 billion exosomes: one hour, £500.
The products differ in what is in them and how long the session takes. The difference is explained at the consultation. This page does not claim what any of them will do for your hair, and the team will not either.
PRP and exosomes combined
PRP and exosomes in one session is booked as one hour and costs £270. Each option has its own book button under prices and booking below, and the PRP hair treatment cost page sets out every hair price and what each one includes.

Common questions
Where can I get hair loss treatment near me in Halifax?
Revitalise Clinic offers PRP and exosome hair loss treatment at 4 Hopwood Lane, Halifax, HX1 5HW. Every hair treatment starts with a free 30 minute hair loss consultation, in person or by video. You can book it in the online diary or call 01422 525503.
What happens at the free hair loss consultation?
The free hair loss consultation takes 30 minutes. Your practitioner looks at your scalp, asks about your hair, your general health and any medicines, and explains what PRP and exosome sessions involve and cost. Whether either is suitable is decided with you. You are under no obligation to book a treatment afterwards.
How much does PRP hair treatment cost?
PRP hair treatment costs £150 for a one hour session at the clinic. Exosome sessions are £150, £300 or £500 depending on the product, and PRP with exosomes combined is £270. The consultation beforehand is free. How many sessions people book varies, and that is talked through with you first.
What are the disadvantages of PRP hair treatment?
PRP hair treatment needs a blood sample from your arm, so it is not for everyone, and the arm can bruise where the blood was taken. The scalp can feel tender for a while afterwards. Results vary from person to person and nobody can promise them. Side effects and who should not have PRP are covered at the consultation.
Is PRP hair treatment suitable for women?
PRP hair treatment is booked by both women and men at the clinic. Whether it suits you depends on your hair, your health and any medicines you take, not on whether you are a man or a woman. That is what the free consultation is for, and you will be told honestly if it is not right for you.
How many exosome sessions are usual?
The number of exosome sessions is decided with you at the consultation, based on your scalp and what you are hoping for. Some people book one session and some book more over a few months. You are never asked to commit to a course before your first session, and each one is booked and paid for on its own.
Does PRP for hair hurt, and how long does it take?
PRP for hair is booked as a one hour appointment, which covers the blood sample, preparing the plasma and treating the scalp. You feel a sharp scratch when blood is taken, and the scalp part can feel uncomfortable. If you are nervous, say so at the start and your practitioner will take it at your pace.
