What people ask us first
- Which injection is the right one for me, and who decides?
- I have never had an injection outside a GP surgery and want to know exactly what happens.
- I take other medicines and want to check before I book.
- I want to know the price and how long it takes before I commit.
What happens at your appointment
-
Book the injection or a free consultation
2 minutes online
Choose a time in the online diary. You do not need a consultation first, but if you are not sure which injection to book, a free 30 minute consultation, in person or by video, is a good place to start.
-
Health questions first
Your practitioner asks about your health, any medicines you take and why you are interested. Whether an injection is suitable today is decided with you. If it is not, you are told why and no injection is given.
-
The injection
About 15 minutes in all
You sit down and roll up your sleeve. The skin on the upper arm is cleaned, and the injection goes into the muscle. It takes a few seconds.
-
Before you go
Your practitioner notes what was given and talks you through what to look out for at the injection site. If a further appointment makes sense, you are told when.
What to expect
- You know which injection you had, the dose and the date, before you leave.
- You have had the chance to ask every question you came in with.
- You know whether a follow-up appointment was suggested, and when.
- You pay one clear price, the one shown on this page and in the online diary.

Five injections, one short appointment
The clinic offers five vitamin injections. Each one is booked on its own in the online diary, and each takes about 15 minutes. Below is what each one is, in plain words. What it might do for you is not something this page can promise, and the team will not either. Your practitioner explains what is involved, and whether it is suitable is decided with you.
Vitamin D injection
Vitamin D given as a single injection into the upper arm. £50.
B-complex injection
A mix of B vitamins in one injection into the upper arm. B-complex is the injection people search for most after B12. £30.
Biotin injection
Biotin is one of the B vitamins, also called vitamin B7. One injection into the upper arm. £30.
Glutathione injection
Glutathione is a small molecule made of three amino acids. It comes in two strengths: 600mg as an injection into the muscle (£45), or 1200mg given slowly into a vein, called an IV push (£60). Both are booked as 15 minute appointments.
The fifth option is vitamin B12. B12 for injection is a prescription-only medicine in the UK, so its suitability is checked by a registered pharmacist before anything is given. Your appointment starts with health questions, and a B12 injection is only given if it is suitable for you. If you have recent blood results, bring them. £30.
All five are listed with their own book button under prices and booking below, and every figure is also on the vitamin injection prices page.
Who gives your injection
Revitalise Clinic is owned and run by Adil Mahmood, a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC 2076427). Injections are given by the clinic team. Mohammad Subhan Anwar Khan, a pharmacist independent prescriber (GPhC 2078837) and co-director, has clinical oversight. Sophia Shah, who has 16 years’ experience in healthcare, gives treatments under Subhan’s oversight. You can check both pharmacists on the GPhC register, and your questions are answered before anything is given.
“He also explained everything to me and gave me some very sound advice. Highly recommended.”

Not sure which one to book?
You do not need a consultation before a vitamin injection. If you would like one anyway, book the free 30 minute consultation. You can come in or talk by video, ask your questions, and decide afterwards. There is no charge and no obligation to book anything.
Injections are paid in full when you book. If you need to cancel or move your appointment, give at least 24 hours’ notice for a full refund. Treatments are for adults 18 and over.
If you would like longer in the chair, the clinic also runs IV drips with vitamin C and mixed vitamins, which take about an hour. People who come in about thinning hair often ask about PRP and exosome hair loss treatment too. You can see the full list of treatments at the clinic or go straight to the booking page for every treatment.

Common questions
Where can I get vitamin injections near me in Halifax?
Revitalise Clinic is at 4 Hopwood Lane, Halifax, HX1 5HW. The clinic team gives vitamin D, B-complex, biotin, glutathione and B12 injections there. Each appointment takes about 15 minutes and you can book a time in the online diary or call 01422 525503.
How much does a vitamin injection cost?
Prices in the online diary are £30 for B12, B-complex or biotin, £50 for vitamin D, and £45 for glutathione 600mg or £60 for glutathione 1200mg given into a vein. The price covers the health questions and the injection. Injections are paid in full when you book. Every price is on the vitamin injection prices page.
How long does a vitamin injection appointment take?
A vitamin injection appointment is booked as 15 minutes. Most of that is the health questions and the chance to ask your own. The injection itself takes a few seconds. Glutathione 1200mg is given slowly into a vein, so allow the full appointment.
Is a B12 injection given in the arm, and is it into a vein or a muscle?
A B12 injection at the clinic goes into the muscle of the upper arm, which is called an intramuscular injection. It is not a drip into a vein. B12 for injection is a prescription-only medicine in the UK, so its suitability is checked by a registered pharmacist before anything is given.
How often can I have vitamin injections?
How often depends on the injection and on you, so there is no single answer. It is decided at your appointment from your health questions and any recent blood results you bring. Before you leave, you are told whether a further appointment was suggested and when.
Does a vitamin injection hurt?
A vitamin injection feels like any jab in the arm: a quick scratch and some pressure for a few seconds. Some people notice a little soreness where the needle went in. If you are nervous about needles, say so when you arrive and your practitioner will take it at your pace.
